Introduction
Professor Dr. Muhammad Qasim Khan is a highly experienced Consultant Paediatrician based in Pakistan. With an MBBS from the University of Peshawar and FCPS qualifications from CPSP Karachi, he has over 16 years of specialized experience in paediatrics and neonatology.
Currently serving as Professor and Incharge/ Chairman of the Paediatrics Department at Mardan Medical Complex & Teaching Hospital, he has previously held roles as Associate, Assistant Professor and Senior Registrar of Paeds Unit.
His extensive clinical and administrative duties include serving as Deputy Project Director of Shaheed Mohtrama Benazir Bhutto Children Hospital, CPSP Supervisor/Examiner, and Chairman/ member of numerous hospital and academic committees.
Dr. Khan has an extensive research portfolio with over 45 publications in national and international journals on topics including paediatric asthma, bronchiolitis, malnutrition, and neonatal care.
He is an active participant in conferences and workshops, both nationally and internationally, and holds several certifications, including in Artificial Intelligence in Research and Health Professional Education. Proficient in English, Urdu, Punjabi, and Pashto, he is recognized for his leadership, teaching, and commitment to paediatric healthcare.
