Dr. Muhammad Awais is a highly skilled and compassionate Pulmonologist with extensive experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of respiratory diseases. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pulmonology at mardan medical complex, Dr. Muhammad Awais combines academic excellence with clinical expertise to offer comprehensive care to patients suffering from pulmonary conditions.
After completing medical school from Peshawar and House job from Agha Khan Hospital karachi,
Dr. Muhammad Awais pursued post-graduate training in Respiratory Medicine from Lady Reading Hospital, earning his FCPS degree from College of Physician and Surgeon of Pakistan (CPSP) in Pulmonary Medicine. He then persued his career as:
1)Medical officer in Medical ICU at Hayatabad Medical Complex, (Aug 2021-may 2022)
2) Specialist Registrat-Pulmonology Unit-Hayatabad Medical Complex Peshawar, (May 2022-Nov 2024)
Dr. Muhammad Awais clinical interests focus on a broad spectrum of respiratory disorders, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, interstitial lung diseases, pulmonary hypertension, lung infections, and the management of critical care in respiratory failure. With a special interest in Sleep medicine, Tuberculosis and Pulmonary rehabilitation.
Dr. Muhammad Awais is committed to offering personalized treatment plans for patients, utilizing the latest advancements in medical technology and evidence-based practices.

Dr. Muhammad Awais encourages a multidisciplinary approach to managing respiratory illnesses and works closely with colleagues from various specialties to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Dr. Muhammad Awais is a member of several prestigious professional societies, including Pakistan Chest Society, European Respiratory Society and is a frequent contributor to research in the field of pulmonology. His research interests are centered around Tuberculosis, Covid 19, interstitial lung disease and pulmonary rehabilition with several publications in nationally and internationally recognized medical journals.
