Introduction

Dr. Muhammad Abbas is a highly accomplished and senior medical professional with over three decades of clinical, administrative, and academic excellence in the field of General Medicine. He currently serves as an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Medical Teaching Institution (MTI), Bacha Khan Medical College (BKMC) / Mardan Medical Complex (MMC), Pakistan. Notably, he has also served in peak leadership roles as the Ex-Dean and CEO of MTI, BKMC, Mardan.

• Academic & Research Contributions: An active CPSP and KMU postgraduate supervisor and examiner. He is the Co-Editor of the Journal of Bacha Khan Medical College (JBKMC) and has published 21 comprehensive national and international research papers across reputable indexed journals.
• Key Institutional Achievements: During his tenure as Dean, he successfully acquired high-end clinical donations (such as a Cath Lab machine) , secured multiple specialty training accreditations for FCPS/MCPS from the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) , and resolved a vital hurdle by obtaining the official ISSN number for the institution's medical journal.
