Dr. Mubashar Ullah Jan is a highly qualified ENT surgeon hailing from a strong educational background
Educational background.
- He graduated from Khyber Medical College Peshawar in 2001-02.
- Following in his father’s footsteps, the Late Dr. Saadat Ullah Jan, who was one of the Pioneers in ENT in KPK, he pursued his aspirations in ENT by earning his Diploma in Laryngology and Otology (DLO) from PGMI, LRH Peshawar in 2008.
- In pursuance of Excellence, he then started his FCPS initially from CMH, Peshawar (2009) and then shifted to LRH, Peshawar in 2010. He completed his Fellowship in ENT (FCPS) from CPSP, Pakistan in 2013.
Professional Experience
- His career spans over two decades, starting as House officer in 2003, and then upgrading to Medical officer in ENT ward LRH, Peshawar in 2006 till 2008.
- Joined CMH, Peshawar in 2009 for FCPS part II training, which he then shifted to LRH Peshawar in 2010. Here he worked in a series of progressively responsible roles in ENT unit, culminating in his second and highest qualification in the field of ENT in 2013.
- In Feb 2015 after his selection by PSC KPK, he was appointed as District ENT Specialist (BPS18) Swabi, in which capacity he worked from June 2015 till Feb 2019.
- He was then transferred as District ENT Specialist Mardan to ENT unit, MMC, Mardan, where he was given the responsibilities pertaining to clinical and surgical aspects of ENT patients.
- Since 2022, he has worked as Assistant Professor ENT, BKMC, MMC, Mardan.
Surgical Interest
- Special interest in Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgeries (FESS), Rhinoplasty ,various ENT and Neck surgeries
Workshops / Research/ Publication
- In 2020 he obtained his CHPE (Certificate in Health Professions Education) from NUMS Islamabad.
- In 2023 he got his Certificate in Health Research from KMU Peshawar.
- He has participated in various National and International ENT workshops and conferences.
- He has a keen interest in Research and has authored papers in various reputable and recognized Journals.
